When I started recording music, there was no such
thing as AutoTune. You learned to play by listening, and if you
struggled, there wasn't much the engineer could do for
you. Now, there's a plug-in for anything, recorded music
is basically free, and, for a few hundred bucks,
you can buy
gear that studios could only dream about 20
years ago.
But ears are still ears, and experience is still experience.
A good song stilI beats a fast computer, and a tasteful production
will always sound better than a forced one, no matter how it
was recorded.
There are four music players
on this site, each with different samples of my work as a producer,
engineer, writer and performer. Have a listen.
